What to Expect at Your Pet's Veterinary Dental Appointment

We want to be certain our pet patients and their families are comfortable and prepared for their appointment or procedure. Please view the following video for an overview of what to expect during your visit to Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists.

You can also expect us to notify you the day before your pet's surgery with instructions regarding withholding of food and water. As a rule we suggest you take the food away at 7:00 p.m. the night before the procedure. Your pet can have access to water until he comes in the next morning. We will instruct you on other pertinent information vital to your pet’s procedure such as whether to give or withhold medications your pet is currently taking. As a general rule please continue with your pet’s regular medication schedule even on the morning of the procedure.
